Brahams Foundation is a globally-focused Kenyan NGO rooted in Ugenya, Siaya County. We champion talent development through sports, advance girl child education and empowerment, and create economic pathways for individuals and communities.
We believe every child, especially girls, deserves access to quality education, safe spaces, and mentorship. Our disability inclusion programmes ensure no one is left behind, while our economic initiatives unlock sustainable livelihoods across the region and beyond.
Today, our work spans five counties, Siaya, Kakamega, Trans Nzoia, Nairobi, and Mombasa, bringing our programmes to communities across Kenya.

Sport is the universal language. It crosses borders, breaks barriers, and builds character in ways few other forces can.
For young people in Siaya and beyond, a football pitch is not just a playing field. It is a classroom, a stage, and a lifeline. At Brahams Foundation, Sports is our entry point into communities, our proof of concept for what belief in young people can produce, and our most powerful tool for identifying raw talent that would otherwise go unnoticed.
Every athlete we develop carries Brahams values of discipline, resilience, and ambition far beyond the pitch.

Nurturing athletic excellence from grassroots to global stages. We identify, train, and equip young talents across football, athletics, and more, giving youth a competitive edge and a pathway to professional careers.

Unlocking sustainable livelihoods through skills training, micro-enterprise support, and financial literacy. We equip communities, especially women and youth, with tools to build economic independence.
03Environmental ConservationEnvironmental Stewardship
Championing environmental conservation through tree planting, clean-up drives, and climate education. We equip communities to protect their natural resources and build a greener, more sustainable future.

Talent & Education
ACTIVEWe identify and nurture raw talent through sports, academic mentorship, and skills training. From grassroots football to classroom support, we give young people in Siaya County and beyond the tools to build extraordinary futures.
Exercise Book na Kalamu
A school supply initiative ensuring every vulnerable learner in public schools has access to an exercise book and pen. The programme is delivered by Sports teachers in public schools who also serve as Brahams Foundation members, supported by willing individuals and visitors who join them in the community schools. Exercise Book na Kalamu operates under a simple belief: no child should sit in a classroom without the basic tools to learn.
Better Health Care
ACTIVEAccess to quality healthcare is a right, not a privilege. Brahams Foundation is actively developing community health programmes to bring essential services closer to underserved families across our counties of operation.
Matibabu Mtaani
A mobile healthcare initiative that brings health services directly to the people. Matibabu Mtaani delivers care through mobile clinics, health camps, and community dispensaries, reaching communities that would otherwise have to travel long distances for basic medical attention. The programme also provides health services during Brahams Foundation sports events, ensuring participants and spectators alike have access to care when and where they need it.
People With Disabilities
ACTIVEWe champion inclusion and dignity for every person regardless of ability. Through outreach, awareness, and direct support, we work to ensure people with disabilities are seen, heard, and fully included in our community programmes.
Badilisha Maisha
A programme built around the belief that disability is not inability. Badilisha Maisha empowers persons with disabilities and the wider community by creating spaces where people share their life experiences, ambitions, and aspirations. The programme hosts community gatherings where persons with disabilities tell their stories, share the lessons they have learned, and inspire others. Badilisha Maisha exists to prove that a turnaround moment is possible for everyone.
Women Empowerment
ACTIVEWe believe in the power of women to transform communities. Through girl child education support, mentorship, and economic empowerment initiatives, we are building a generation of confident, capable women leaders.
Boresha Elimu
A gender empowerment initiative that supports the girl child through education and supports women through economic participation. Boresha Elimu provides school uniforms for vulnerable girls in public schools, sourced from women in the community who are skilled in tailoring. The programme serves two purposes at once: it gives girls the confidence, hygiene, and dignity that a proper uniform provides, while creating income and recognition for women artisans in the community. When a girl puts on her uniform, a woman earned from making it.
Employment
ACTIVEDignified work transforms lives and builds resilient communities. We are developing skills training and micro-enterprise programmes to create sustainable employment pathways for youth and women across our regions.
Nyumba Tano Initiative
A youth empowerment and leadership development programme that creates economic opportunities through collective action. The Nyumba Tano Initiative groups five people who share similar ambitions, skills, or professional interests and supports them as a unit. The programme offers seed grants and mentorship to these groups, operating on a core belief: when an idea is supported and a team is formed around it, opportunities are not waited for but created. Nyumba Tano turns individual ambition into collective enterprise.
Every Child Deserves
A Chance to Learn
Brahams Foundation supports vulnerable children through school fees, uniforms, books, mentorship, and academic support. We give them the foundation to build a better future.
We partner with schools, children's homes, and aligned community institutions to identify children who need educational assistance and long-term empowerment.

Sports Initiative-Ukwala Boys Primary School
We're raising KSh 1.2M to equip Ukwala Boys Primary School with a full sports programme,jerseys,boots,training gear and coaching support. Every child deserves the chance to play,learn and grow.
